Healing happens when we slow down and listen to our thoughts, our bodies, and the quieter parts of ourselves that often get overlooked. But healing also happens when we learn to name what’s going on. When we can put words to our experiences, even the hard or messy ones, they start to feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
Often, the things we carry show up not just in our minds, but in our bodies, too, as tension, restlessness, or a sense of being stuck (among many others). Slowing down gives us the chance to tune in, while finding language for our experiences helps us make sense of them and move forward.
This isn’t about fixing yourself or forcing change. It’s about creating space for all the parts of you to reconnect, in their own time, with curiosity and care.
Whether through counselling, somatic therapy, or a combination of both, we’ll work together to create a space where you can listen deeply, name your experiences, and take steady steps toward a life that feels more grounded and aligned with who you are.
Although my practice involves and invitation and collaboration with the body, it is up to you to decide how to go forward. You are welcome to choose an approach that speaks to you the most. Some will find comfort in the spoken words, and talking therapy (counselling and psychotherapy) may be more fitting. Others will want to lean into the body and naturally continue with a body-led, body-based practice.
I embrace fluidity in my work, and you are welcome to move in and out of different ways of working as therapy progresses.
I offer video calls on Zoom and in-person appointments from my office in a central location in Glasgow’s city centre (availability and pricing at the bottom of the page).
For those who feel drawn to nature, outdoor and wilderness therapy provide an additional layer of support. The natural world can offer grounding through its rhythms, stillness, and connection to something larger than ourselves. Whether it’s the feel of the earth underfoot, the sound of the wind, or the presence of trees, nature can be a powerful resource for reconnecting to your body and the present moment.
I provide “walk and talk” therapy in an urban park in Glasgow. This allows us to seamlessly translate the work we do online or in the office to an outdoor setting.
I also offer wilderness therapy packages for those seeking a more structured and activity-focused approach. These include an initial and closing 30-minute Zoom session, along with six wilderness therapy sessions conducted in a Glasgow urban park. This comprehensive offering is available at a premium rate.
