Moving with the seasons
A body-led, nature-inspired class to (re)connect with the other-than-human world through the body
A body-led, nature-inspired class to (re)connect with the other-than-human world through the body
I approach each training and class with the following truths:
In this gentle, beginner-friendly somatic practice, you will be guided to slow down, listen to your body and explore a practice rooted in the rhythms of nature. Each 60-minute class includes guided movement that can be explored seated or standing, and an opportunity to share your experience of the practice at the end of the class.
To create a relationship with your body, starting from where it feels good
To remind yourself that you are here, and you are here now (even when the story of your body seems to belong elsewhere)
To learn how groundedness feels in the body, so you can tap into it when you feel like floating away/ going adrift
To remind yourself that you matter and your place in this world matters, too.
To connect more intentionally to the other-than-human world
To learn how to move your body without pressure or goals
To learn more about yourself through the body
